Hi, Just!

You are about to be bombarded with every spammer in answers!

Remember that most of the opportunities that are legit online are actually for home based business opportunities. The programs that you see which claim you can join this and that free and sit home and watch the money roll in behind the computer screen are full of…well, you know.

There are some excellent home businesses out there that you can build online and offline. The key is to know how to look for them in order to avoid being scammed. I have over 20 years experience in home businesses and I have an article that can help you if you are looking for a legitimate business opportunity.

It teaches you what to look for, what to avoid and questions to ask in determining if the opportunity is right for you and if the company is legit. I have been directed to so many at home work offers. But they all end the same, “to complete this offer for work from home please complete this offer my chosing one or more of the following. Once you have completed this offer you will recieve free information on work at home employment.” I hate that. It says free but clearing its anything but.

Most people who work at home and are successful are doing one of two things – getting paid a commission on everyone they convince to join the program (also known as MLM or pyramid plans) OR they have their own business. Your own business is something you create yourself, not find on the internet. You create it based on your skills, your passions not on what someone else tells you is the GREATEST thing going.

If you are looking at one of the endless “opportunities” out there be careful – most are scams. Here are a few questions you should ask to help figure out if the one you are looking at is for real or not.

Legitimate work-at-home program should tell you – in writing – what’s involved in the program they are selling. Here are some questions you might ask:

* What tasks will I have to perform? (Ask the program to list every step of the job.)
* Will I be paid a salary or will my pay be based on commission?
* Who will pay me?
* When will I get my first paycheck?
* What is the total cost of the work-at-home program, including supplies, equipment and membership fees?
* What will I get for my money?

those surveys and much of the online stuff are scams and not worth your time.

there ARE a lot of legitimate working opportunities.

my first suggestion is DONT pay any money for “exclusive” job offers.. as a rule of thumb, if youre asked for money, its a scam.

Question by Maud: Looking for good work from home opportunities?
I would like to find a legit work from home opportunity. I’ve done yahoo searches but I just can’t seem to find anything that seems legit. I have 3 yrs of telemarketing experience and at least 1 yr of secretarial experience. It would be nice if I could find like an inbound telemarketing position from home or a data entry position from home. Does anyone know of any legit work from home opportunities? You can find articles written about legit home opportunities by going to Helium.com – on the search bar write either legit home opportunities or work at home and you will discover what other people are saying about what sites are worth your while and which are not.

You will find a vast variety of articles here that come from personal experiences rather than you taking a chance on something unknown.
