All they do is go to garage sales, auctions, flea markets one day a week and purchase old records, old tools, pretty much anything nostalgic. Sure this does take know how and trial and error as to knowing what will sell. They have a rule though, do not sell anything on eBay that they would not get at least 10 dollars for. They have a budget of $50-$100 a week for purchases and since they make 100k a year you can just imagine their profit margin. What I do for Ebay is I purchase complete makeup sets, like the Alexis Vogel set. It would cost me $189 for the whole set but if I resold it in pieces on eBay as brand new I would come out with about $100 in profit. Hope this helps.
